Iโll never forget the time when an Oncologist/Hematologist, who masked and gloved religiously for chemo/infusion patients, said he would not wear masks for Covid. And, that the vaccine was unnecessary because of โnatural immunity.โ ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ Who said propaganda doesnโt work?
This is like the theoretical physicist arguing in public that global warming wasn't a real thing that was going to impact humans on Earth. I'm not saying "Stay in your lane, specialists!" because I don't have a lane, myself. But outside our areas of education and practice, we are all amateurs.
Frequently it shows.
One can be outside their Lane but still on the same road going in the same direction. I would expect anybody who's acquired a master's degree in STEM to have a basic understanding of physics chemistry and biology. Iam a EE and understood this s*** early on
One certainly *can* be on the same road going in the same direction... Clearly not all specialists are, and furthermore I feel like some of them are making a career of deliberately not understanding anything it's politically useful to not understand. I don't know why they would do that.
The problem doesn't go away just because you pretend you don't know it exists. :|
