It’s a frustrating, yet constructive relationship. I love them. And they help me keep my thumb on the pulse of the bullshit machinery. But oh, how it frustrates me that I can’t dull its effects.

Same with my who usually is tactful enough to know to separate most of her weird views from me but occasionally belts out some sort of cockamamie bullshit she heard on the bullshit channel as though it's real and find myself going on a research project to learn about/counter it.
