Measles in Canada. :( Wtf, Alberta and Ontario?! This is entirely preventable.

ON's outbreak is mostly centered in a rural religious community that eschews much of modern society including, far too often, vaccinations. Local public health dept.s are working very hard to make inroads with community members where possible & contain threats as much as possible.

I get Alberta. I mean, it’s Alberta. (Canada’s version of the South in the US, perhaps?) Admittedly, Ontario is surprising. To me, anyway. As I sit in Chicago.

Well that's pure antivaxx bullshit right there. We had two in cases 2023 and both cases were unvaccinated foreigners who brought it in. VERY preventable.
