I just realized that I forgot about a bag of groceries I put in the backseat yesterday because I wanted to “protect the eggs” This is not how I wanted to start my Thursday

Wow, forgot a bag of groceries in the back seat. You must suffer from ADD. Easily distracted. I am not criticizing, you may have lots of other reasons for having overlooked something like that. I do have ADD and overlooking things is a constant issue. I put things in the way to 1/2

I once left a turkey breast in the car after shopping. It had rolled under the seat, and of course, I'd forgotten all about it until 2 days later. After 2 days of 90+ degrees, it was quite ripe! Gack.

I left a package of chicken in the car from grocery shopping went to the beach the next day and the NEXT DAY I went to go somewhere and what a smell in my car. I still cant get rid of the spoiled chicken smell.

Reminds me of the time I bought a bag of fresh peaches and put them in my back seat for a camping trip. Found them about a week later, squashed under the folded down seat after I finally got around to vacuuming the rest of the dirt and pine needles from the trunk. That stench.... omfg that stench.

Reminds me of when a pack of chicken fell out of a bag once in the car and I did not notice. Then the car started smelling more and more odd everyday after that. Was not a good discovery 😂

I keep a cooler in the back of my car. Bought groceries, opened cooler, awful stench and insect life having a high old time inside. I didn't empty it and left something to rot in there. I hope it wasn't expensive.

Don’t have a cooler but yep, done this. Used to have a crossover suv & put the groceries in the back. The one time I was trying to juggle too many errands and left them in the back, in summer. Few hours later when I remembered it was like “well, that’s a bunch of dairy & meat gone”

we went on vacation to southern Italy in the car (1700km), after around 10 days in glorious sunshine (38-42°C), we discovered a frozen pizza behind the back seats, that we had bought for my stay-at-home son (23) the day before leaving.
