True but also, let's be real, whether there was precedent or not doesn't matter for this regime. It's kinda their whole schtick.
Why isn’t it the HW Bush precedent or the Ford precedent?
Hahaha, are suggesting that trump cares about whether or not there's a precedent set by anybody? Or that the media will give trump a pass because of Biden's decision to protect Fauci and others? Clues: trump does not know or care about precedent, and the media will always give him a pass.
But Trump of course cannot pardon state-law crimes
i was just wondering about that; what kind of state charges could be brought?
trump was going to pardon all his people regardless of what biden did or didn't do. #Fact.
Of course Biden pardoned people who were going to be unjustly persecuted whereas Trump would be corruptly pardoning people who blatantly committed crimes for which they would potentially be investigated and charged in accordance with existing law and procedure, so these things aren't the same at all
If his health holds up. He doesn’t look well.
They are all operating as though they know they will be pardoned.
That precedent was set by Bush I, not Biden.
