And so should the 1st amendment (since the only arguments against it are religious/moral), the actual constitution (life liberty and the pursuit of happiness), and even the 4th amendment because humans own their own bodies and the government shouldn’t say what people can put in or take out of them.

No, first amendment protects speech & religion. The 9th Amendment addresses rights retained by the people that are not specifically listed in the Bill of Rights.

Right, the reason I am saying the 1st amendment applies is because the only reasons to make abortion illegal are religious or morality based, and the first amendment says there should be no law honoring a specific religious organization. Banning abortion because the Bible says to violates that.

But that won’t help make it legal in court. Need a legal basis to fight on constitutional grounds. Ruth Bader Ginsburg believed it should’ve been based on the 9th amendment, not the 14th.

I am saying it should be protected under multiple amendments. The 1st because only religious arguments justify making it illegal, 4th because your body is your property not the governments, the 8th banning forced medical procedures, 2nd to defend yourself with lethal force, AND 9th. many apply.

Truth be told, it’s hard to find any legal justification to allow the government to make this decision anywhere.
