The creation of conditions for a military confrontation with Venezuela is something that all U.S. presidents have evaluated over the past 26 years. It should be remembered that as early as 2002, they organized a coup against President Chávez.

Maduro should just give up the fight then to avoid a bloodbath. Venezuela objectively cannot take on the American military.
