We haven’t seen much of Trump and if that picture was of him, he didn’t take time to put on makeup. I believe Putin told him that he was not gonna be invited to the party.

Not only will US consumers pay for some or all of this additional cost, it'll be harder for US businesses to export their now more expensive products made from more expensive components. Companies will then try to recoup losses by laying off workers and running faster towards AI.

Tariffs won't cost them a dime. They'll pass them on to their customers.

They cannot pass them all along. either way, they have to be paid at import-upfront-many businesses do not have that much capital & it is a risk to borrow it. consumers are reducing spending. None of these numbers account for the major shrinkage in spend by business that is killing all businesses

Oligarchy got tired of buying the up and coming competition. Now they're just going to bankrupt them to secure their monopolies.

Worth repeating: Tariff's are a consumer tax on goods. They apply to everyone who buys anything. They are meant to offset Trump's lowering of income tax on the rich and super rich. Himself and his bros. Rob from the poor (and the middle class), give to the rich. The art of the steal.

This is capitalism functioning as intended. The more powerful capitalist lords are getting the government to get rid of their competition so they can further consolidate power.

Trump & Republicans have drastically increased the people tax burdens while gutting the government services we all use The Republicans claim to be anti tax, really they are just anti corporate tax & anti taxing the rich while destroying the average American tax payer with extreme taxation

If only the courts could do their courting a bit quicker. I don't understand when a court rules an action illegal, but decides to let the law keep being broken for months, on the off chance that the court got it wrong. Shouldn't the default be to stop the action until a final decision is made?
