I will never forget when the raw image first appeared on a TV screen at JPL. We knew it was one of the last pictures we’d ever see from Voyager. 24 hrs earlier we saw the smoker plumes from nitrogen geysers on Triton. The stereo images of the towering plumes blew my mind 🤯. SAVE NASA SCIENCE!
