So Nigel Farage’s ‘new’ plan is in fact… Rishi Sunak’s old plan - which was exactly what caused the explosion in use of asylum hotels in the first place.

Very few journalists in the UK at present. Plenty of stenographers, courtiers and unofficial mouthpieces however. If something someone says is reported without critique, then the reporter is not a journalist.

If you want to stop Farage getting away with lying all the time, try regulating the press. It would be helpful if they couldn’t print “Politician X says the sky is green” without pointing out that Politician X was obviously lying.

Any chance of joining the AMMR? Would seem like a smart move.

Torsten can you keep posting anti Farage posts on thus site and encourage other Labour MPs to do similar. Folks on here (and not on the hellsite) seem to think Labour MPs are lying doggo, when they are doing the opposite.

We’re all sick and tired of people tiptoeing around him, media and Labour Party included. He needs to be politically destroyed and the terms of the whole debate need to be changed before we end up somewhere very dark indeed.

What does political destruction look like for Farage? The Brexit aftermath didn't do it. I mean, by comparison Trump should have been annihilated by now politically, but no, he's still rolling, and Farage hasn't plumbed those depths yet.

Except he is. Unless you all finally grow some balls, and go on the offensive. Every one of you should be absolutely savaging him over his lies, and demonstrably stupid policies—not least of which Brexshit—at every available media opportunity.

Labour need stronger communication about this (& all other) subjects. The media are irresponsibly amplifying negative & dangerously divisive attitudes, so the govt need to be *much* more vocal. Labour comms was impressive in the run up to the election. It's been absolutely dire since 🤷‍♀️.

Nigel Farage and the Brexiteers are the cause of this problem and it should be shouted from the rooftops that it would never have happened without Brexit.

No really Labour is not. But, at the rate it is going Farage of the 'I don't want the NHS funded by Tax fame' will get into Number 10 next time. I really hope all those who helped him get their either deliberately or naively can afford medical insurance for themselves and theirs.

Recycling Sunak’s failed approach shows Farage has no real solutions, just the same broken policies that made the asylum system worse to begin with.
