Our system of government does not allow people without an address to participate in the political process. It's an extended prejudice of the white land owner class of citizen.

Not true. The right to vote is protected for all citizens regardless of housing status. Homeless people can register to vote by listing a physical location where they spend most of their time—a shelter or park—as their “address”. You’re not required to have a permanent residence or mailing address.
