Happy, happy, happy!
Happy, happy, happy!
Oh that’s wonderful! That second one needs to get faster!
I think No. 2 is a bit smaller (hatched a day later?) so often misses out to big sibling. Fortunately both parents are working at feeding them so I think they’re doing OK
That’s great! There’s always one that’s extra pushy🤣
🤣 I’m the oldest but don’t think I was that pushy. My siblings may disagree!
I love juvenile birds and the often obvious parental frustration with them. Omg can’t you just learn to feed yourself already? You’re as big as I am!
💯
Watched this hilariously scruffy looking pigeon teen bumble after his dad cooing at him angrily while the dad kept trying to retreat but pigeon teen was relentless.
Just like human teenagers: Feed me feed me feed me feed me. Only thing missing are the video games
Today’s news is deeply serious, but omg look at these birds
Same in my house.
😂
They are such goofy babies! 🤣
So goofy
Our Crow brought her baby to our yard! Can you believe it? We are over the moon!
Omg that’s so wonderful! Junior crow 🖤🖤🖤
Also, I’m not surprised. Corvids know bird friends
❤️
Shiny babies
Haha!! They are quite demanding!! 😆
Oh yeah. Not subtle 😂
😆😆😆
Great footage!! They know how helpless they are and the parent(s) are still definitely the center of their world! It’s a strong relationship and that was such a nice capture of it! ❤️
Thanks. They seem like they should be capable of feeding themselves but it does take a while
I know. They are so big and loud it’s a little comical.
That was loud. 😂
Yesterday one of the parents decided to yell at me for… existing? It was so loud 😂🤣
Very inconsiderate of you to breathe their air.
🤣
Especially not in the vicinity of their kiddos
😂 I can imagine. I get it from the jays until… well… about now. When the babies are starting to feed themselves.
They’re just doing their job, but sheesh
We had 3 fledglings practically living on our deck for a week. I think the parents put them there for the day as I would see them coming back and fourth with food for the youngsters. One day it rained, and the fledglings figured out if they hid under their peanut treat tray they could stay dry.
Clever birds
I love the one that kept yelling as it was actively being fed. Don’t talk with your mouth full, kid!
❤️ Magpies rule the feeders here! Magnificent birds, magpies... Thanks!
They remind me of my hungry brother when we were growing up 😂
WHAT A RACKET! Hope you weren't counting on a quiet evening 🎧
This is them being quiet 🤣😂
Woah!!!! 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 But maybe ask them to elevate their shenanigans for 8:42 pm cst to mark #SummerSolstice2025 ?
I’m sure they’ll still be awake so no worries there
What's up dude
The best bird that ever flew.
We saw a chickadee fledgling flapping his wings to get some food from a parent today. So cute.
The little wing flutters are so adorable
My puppy really enjoyed this, got really close to look and then tried to look behind the phone. Enjoyed the wings flapping.
My friend had a dog who would run into the other room (behind the TV) when she saw dogs on TV.
I loved this video! Birds fascinate me!
Wholesome Family Outing!
Bellaaaa !! 👍❤️
They're big enough to fend for themselves🤪
Not saying it’s for sure my favorite follow, but dang sure Top 5! 👍🏽
We have a family in trees near us...we love watching their antics.....less so their noise!
Ive got juvenile grackles and blue jays who are as loud and crazy as these guys. Now one of the blue jay juveniles follows me all around my property since it saw me throwing peanuts in front yard. I guess I’m New Mom.
I get this sneaky suspicion that Blue Jays are the Karens of the bird world..
But they are good at warning me when a hawk is lurking in my trees near birdbath. I understand hawks need to eat too but I’m chasing it away (with loud handclapping). I couldn’t bear it if one of my beautiful cat birds became lunch.
This is going to be fun! I know you aren't setting up cameras in your yard, but if they keep hanging out you'll get to watch.
Oh no, one junior got left out on that snack run 🤯 So cute 🥰
They only ever seem to feed one per visit but visits are fairly frequent and so they’re both getting fed. Both parents seem to feed them. One kid is a little bigger than the other and I suspect it hatched first
It seemed pretty clear they both were full of vim and vigor! (I think I often mishear that as vim and vinegar 😂)
So cute
Nasty birds
But you haven’t even met them
I've had multiple magpie encounters. I lived next to a nest. Smart birds but absolutely nasty!
I won’t add you to my magpie fan club, then. Have a great weekend!
You too!
Anyone with or has had teens who need something recognize this
Ah, yes, absolutely love their clumsiness and stubby tails!
squeaky bird gets the worm 😎
*Mom always loved you best!
wowww they look so much like eurasian magpies but they sound VERY different!!
Oh that’s interesting about the sound. I’ll have to look up a recording of the Eurasian cousins
Now that I think about it I do remember hearing the magpies when I visited Edmonton! They were very lively!
Edmonton and Saskatoon are both full of magpies!
I’ve lived in various parts of the US and in Canada for three years but never in a place with magpies! Only saw them on visits.
That is very different. Thanks for sharing! The adults here have an amazing repertoire of sounds but very few of them are quiet 🤣
I think the chattering noises in this video are slightly more common but they do also communicate different things. This is from outside my old room where a bunch of magpies slept in the trees
Oh that sounds more familiar
Adorable! OK, pretty loud — well, very loud — but still adorable! 😊
I love that the siblings will even yell at each other
I think they just like yelling 😂
This is the best thing I've seen all day. Thanks so much for sharing it. 💗
