They're also usually surprisingly chill otherwise. Like, if you wrong them on accident and nobody got hurt, yeah they'll be upset at you but won't do anything more. Do it on purpose though or injure/kill their young? You're a target for their entire bloodline. And they teach their kids your face!
It also works in reverse- if you're kind or even outright nurturing towards them like leaving food for them regularly or talking to them peacefully, they'll make sure their family knows it and may offer you random junk or other shiny bits
