So now what we all should be doing is trying to cooperate and live together in peace, but for that to happen there NEEDS to be changes. There needs to be more respect for the actual history of the land before it was stolen and there needs to be a middle ground for both of us. (2/2)

I don’t know how to get land back for the original Americans. The Indians didn’t believe in owning the land. They treated it respectfully & responsibly. The treaties were not about ownership of land but places where the original people here could live in their native ways & thrive peacefully.

These are racist tropes. If the tribes had boundaries with each other we sure as shit understood owning and using the land. My tribe were farmers. Can't farm with out the land. There were cities rivaling those in Europe. St Louis was a giant city precontact. We understood land rights.
