Lucky bugger. Whereabouts?
Staying in Udine for a couple of days then on to Venice. Then beach in Slovenia, a couple of days in Verona, then back over the Alps.
Sounds idyllic, except for all that driving.
Once you’ve driven German autobahn for a few years, driving in Austria and Italy is positively relaxing!
I can't drive but I have been driven on the autobahn by a guy who wanted to show of his BMW and also scare me. I wasn't frightened, but if anything went wrong at that speed, you'd be burgers.
