Disappointing that it's only 40%. I wouldn't trust anyone who would answer no. Those are the same people who demand abuse victims suck it up for Thanksgiving.

The 60% answering “no” are the same people who are now wagging their fingers at the trans community for declaring that they will not support Gavin Newsom (or anyone who thinks trans rights are negotiable) if he ends up being the Presidential nominee in 2026.

The thing is, all the trump voters are lying. They are the first to cut someone off if they have opposing “political views” like the rights of LGBTQ+ people. Voice support for trans people and they will ostracize you from their groups faster than they can empty a bag of pork rinds on labor day.

My stepmother got angry with me for not going to Rochester a couple years ago to visit her little bro and fam for Christmas for that exact reason. Her nephew in-law is hard core in maga land and also a cop. I told her exactly why I wouldn't go.
