trump was indicted twice by the DOJ, in DC for starting an insurrection, and in S Florida for documents case. SCOTUS gave him immunity, Cannon blew up documents case. So yes, they DID try to prosecute him.

He was prosecuted twice. Cases were thrown out after the trials started. I never said anything about convictions.
