I think the Republicans have grossly underestimated how their constituents are going to feel about what’s been going on. They think their constituents are stupid. They are not stupid.

I think they live in a bubble in DC as they only ever mix with other Rs who are like them or who keep quiet. Then when they go home, they seem shocked at the public’s reactions. Things have gone way too far for them to claw anything back in time for the mid-terms
