I think you've just habituated to seeking conflict with strangers online for the dopamine, to be honest. But my OPINION stands: incessantly sardonic flippancy does no good for anyone and isn't meaningful discourse.

We're neurodivergent furries on the internet, this is social media, the whole underlying point of interactions on here is for dopamine seeking at the end of the day. NO ONE is simply genuinely trying to have "discourse". Lol. We're just trying to survive this late stage Capitalist hellscape.

I'd argue that the lack of discourse is more out of human nature, and the manufacturing of consent by Bourgeois forces, revocation of adequate education systems by big money lobbyists, and lead poisoning of populations by major corporations, than it is individuals faults in seeking dopamine.
