I’m still working on getting my Real ID. The state I got married in doesn’t allow ordering marriage certificates online. Btw I haven’t been married for over 10 years, and my social security card, driver’s license, expired passport, utility bills, and employment ID all confirm my current name.

If you keep a valid (non expired) passport, you don't need a RealID. Check your state's rules carefully. Maybe you can avoid the hassle

I was married overseas 40 years ago at a Justice of Peace. (Next to horsestables)Divorced 30 years. Why would I have that paperwork? Thank God I had a passport even though it had just expired. I renewed & got my ID.

Got my citizenship over a decade ago but my mom kept my naturalization certificate bc I was still in college. She doesn't know where it is now and my passport is expired so I have to renew my passport to get a real id drivers license. Huge hassle and i technically don't have proof I'm here legally 🙃
