Trump is the one who has the audacity to push the limits. He is the one who is adored by the cult. Vance doesn’t have the charisma to continue magat. (He also has a brown wife) When trump dies, hopefully soon, the magat sh!tshow will end. Then we put back the pieces of democracy.
I agree that a cult rarely survives the loss of its leader, but the Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society, and others have been working on this for at least 40 years. The destruction they have wreaked at home, and esp abroad, will take a long time to amend, if there's an opportunity 1/2
to do that. The Constitution put most of the power for governing in the Congress and the states, not the presidency. I think we'll have a better idea of what the future might be after the midterms. 2/end
