Taylor Lorenz wrote a hit piece about the group Chorus. She claimed it was a secret, that it restricted what creators could say, and that it was DNC controlled. None of that is true. Instead, Lorenz is a narcissist angry that she doesn’t control the narrative and was fired for poor journalism.
Furthermore, the group funding Chorus, 1630, also funds another group that pays Lorenz. So if Chorus is unethical, so is the group Lorenz accepts money from. But while it’s dark money in that donors aren’t legally required to be reported, 1630 voluntarily reports donors.
Lorenz made wild claims without any evidence and sometimes outright lying. BTC wasn’t keeping it a secret, he was talking about Chorus for months. But instead of admitting she lied, she’s being manipulative and accusing everyone else of lying. She deserves no credibility.
Meanwhile, Lorenz excused Republicans for doing much more unethical funding of their media creators. The hypocrisy is blatant. Finally, people believing her keep bringing up Gaza. But BTC has a long history of discussing Gaza, and it’s not entirely approving of the DNC. I trust BTC more than Lorenz.
