As a parent, if my child had suicidal ideation or thoughts, I would rather they receive the help they need through an 800 suicidal helpline rather than be required to ask permission to do so…..it is difficult enough to have those thoughts but even harder to have to say it out loud.

That is a stupid law, one would think parents would want their children to reach out for help, but I totally understand kids not wanting to ask for permission. Who would.
