#OnThisDay 2005 : 20 years ago today, it was announced that Michael Sheard passed away. He was known for playing villains. His most prominent television role was as strict deputy headmaster Maurice Bronson in the children's series Grange Hill. #GrangeHill

If you can find it in print, check out his autobiography "Yes, Mr Bronson; Memoirs Of A Bum Actor". It's an absolute hoot. Also, Michael must have been very highly thought of if he was able to get none other than Roger Moore to write the foreword.
