Those numbers don't tell the whole story. Over 150,000 federal jobs will be gone after September once the delayed resignation period ends. We may have negative job numbers soon. It also doesn't include all the people who are underemployed and have "jobs" but not good paying ones.
That's just the jobs you know about. You don't lose that many personnel without ditching janitors, window cleaners, cafeteria staff.....
With tariffs it’s going to drive tourism down even further. Thats even more jobs and local economies will suffer, small businesses will go under. I don’t know what I am going to do. I am screwed.
