Man, I’m looking like the Fresh Prince just staring after cleaning out my home office. I’ve always dreamed of retiring and shutting the company doors, but this hurts inside a little more than I thought it would. Huge chunk of my life just gone. Strange feeling.

Not all my own decision, but yes. I’ll probably find something to do part time to keep me busy eventually, but for now it’s lazy days and trying not to lean into the drinking too hard.

Thanks man. I’m sure I’ll figure it all out. Keeping busy and learning how to live on some sort of a budget again are the biggest hurdles I’m facing, but I’ll get there. Maybe I’ll find time to make a game at Ford Field finally.
🤗 Bound to be that way often we define ourselves by our work shouldn’t be that way. However how often if someone asks you what do you do, do you turn around and start talking about the things you like to do rather than the thing you did to make ends meet. Never…🤷🏼♂️same for me.
Ya, I’ve just been working in those power plants since I was 17 and now I know I’ll never be back. My family opened that business just a few months after I met my wife and it’s just been such a huge part of my life. Going to go through some of the stages of grief letting that go.
