Another way is to edit a brush to use "Spray", which fills the brush zone with "particles". Set the particles to very small and the density to very high.

Thank you! I'll play around with that. I'm not sure if it's *exactly* the effect I'm looking for but is as close as anyone will ever notice.

Looking through at your art, you may have some luck with "Sponge Strokes v2" from the CSP store. assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail... Customize this brush for smaller particles and greater spread, it might be a good match for your background colors. Good luck!
