Absolutely agree: It's not okay and should be condemned. But I wouldn't contribute to a legal defense fund or march in protest to support him.

If you want to have sympathy for someone who is responsible for enabling a fascist but then gets in trouble, go ahead. I'll save my sympathies for those standing against fascism from the start. PS: Do you think Bolton would give a crap if Trump's DOJ raids Obama's house & then marches him to prison?
