I can't deal with TTS. I find audio very distracting and I've seen people abuse it on many folks' streams. I personally find captions necessary but I also want to be able to randomly language switch when something doesn't quite translate and still be understood by whoever's watching.
Not sure what would help with live translation in closed captions 🤔 for auto captions like the ones I use, I have to tell it what language in the settings so it's listening for that specifically. Will keep an eye out if I see anything. I feel like something Google Cloud related maybe but not sure.
Yeah I'm going to keep looking as well. Iknow embedded captions are not a great option but that may be necessary to just do what is needed until an alternative comes up. I've seen that a bit.
