3. Since reinfection with SARS-CoV-2 is the norm, this long-term genetic disruption - assuming that it is confirmed - will be ongoing. In my opinion, this is uncharted territory in terms of the effects on population health going forward. /end

So, a government’s decision to deny Covid vaccine boosters to most of the population and leave an entire generation of children to grow up without any Covid protection at all may not be totally consistent with its declared policy to shift the emphasis of its health service from cure to prevention..
