Spectres Hiding in a coffin made of nostalgia. Afraid progress will burn me. As if burning could be worse than this. A voice muffled through mahogany memories. Advice spewing pallbearers struggling with my wait. Progress pulling against promises I made to ghosts and guilt. Imagined obligations with no one left to enforce them. No one left to disappoint out loud. Just me. Just this lid. Just spectres who speak with my voice.
