Should be a pretty easy concept to understand. Gerrymandering of all stripes can shield elected officials from accountability. The Texas power grab and ramifications of it should be condemned on that basis alone

An idea, California should put a clause in their bill to stipulate the districts go back to where they are now following the election.

I looked this up and you are correct, technically. The sunset clause is for 2030 census. My request would be to revert it back after next Novembers elections. After all for Republicans to vote for it they need to know it’s designed to blunt TX power grab for next year only.
