an important aspect of protocol deviation is that it was done in a place and context with gender clinics that are often hostile to trans people and deliver sub-par care at best with bullshit requirements

Didn't they just jusr delete like 5k people from their gc waiting lists? Anyone who had been waiting for more than 4 years or so? with no notification? And isn't NL a country that sterilized trans people till 2013? No wonder participants are not very cooperative. I wouldn't be either, probably.
so I get the girls that did it but also it is symptomatic of trans studies and still a fucking shame that this is still what is happening because we get sub-par care in most places that we still have to just lie to get the care we want and need in many places...
so even if I wish the girls didn't do it the blame in squarely on the NL trans health care system and tbh most trans healthcare systems around the world
