Fully agree. The biggest barrier to that is the map itself. The two coasts. Even if they stay connected through the North…it’s difficult geography. And Montana/Idaho make quite a wall.

I would say the urban/ rural divide is a pretty huge barrier to that as well. There’s a shitton of democrats in Texas cities and out in W New York where I live there are a bunch of Republicans
