He married my mother, Shirley, and became an IBEW lineman. They raised a family. He served on the school board and volunteered in our small town. He owned his own home.
That’s a long way of saying my dad lived the American Dream. That’s the America that taught me what it means to love this country.
My parents were of the Greatest Generation and helped to make the dream come true for more Americans. Today Trump/MAGA are fading our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. This is the worst 4th of July I’ve had.
it's sad that today that triangle flag is seen as just some home decor for many, including the deluded president.
