Where is the evidence for this? The notion that many homeless are veterans is the left’s version of immigrants eat pets or commit most crimes. Most homeless people have mental health and/or addiction issues. They may claim to be veterans because it helps their pitch, but the VAST majority are not.

One time I was in DC for a protest against Trump in 2018 where I also visited 3 museums. On my way to Union Station I gave the 3 beers left of my 6 pack to a vagrant who said Bless You Ma'am. You never know if you helped an angel in disguise but I am blessed with beer every night if I want it.

Dear Mr Vance, The correct phrase is HOMELESS. People who cannot, as hard as they try, afford to get into or fiscally keep a home. Many are veterans. Many throughout the country are children. They tend to congregate in cities due to ease of access to food, transportation, hospitals and charity.
