For MAGA, at least, Epstein was a means to an end to destroy their enemies, i.e., Democrats. Once it became clear that Trump was implicated, there was no point and they lost interest. It will hurt Trump on the more alt/fringe right, though.

The right only pretends to care about women and children as a talking point to push their political agenda. As soon as we speak out against their kind though, we are seen as the enemy. Also that looks a lot like obedience among his followers on truth social immediately following trump's posts
I'm curious how this relates to most other news though, which probably also tends to cause a stir at first and then die down quickly as the public loses interest. People seem to have short memories and attention spans and want only the freshest suffering and scandals to hear about.

On other online platforms (message boards....old people stuff) I can say that Epstein + Trump totally deflated the Pro Trump folks. Its a very informal and unreliable dataset (me) but thats what I see
