Precious names and sounds π₯Ίπ

Double sweetness.π»
Iβll be taking them home now. Just ad one of their planets and toys and Iβll be on my merry way
Ooo they have planets? I meant blankets πΉ

I follow two things...well three things: politics, horses and cats. Thank goodness for the last two or else I wouldn't be able to handle the first.
π― Amen and well said! I think loving animals helps us better empathize with humans which is (or should be) core to politics.
Wait.. is that what that is? My cat is a grown man that does that to my arm in the morning to wake me up for food. He was a stray and I suspect he was taken away or lost his mom too soon, because he has other kitten like behavior.
What a perfect handsome man with clear communication skills! π€©π» Yes, suckling is typically attributed to being separated from mama too early, but some kitties just choose to continue to comfort themselves this way (or perhaps have trained their person to get them food πΉ) I think itβs adorable! π₯Ήπ»
My girl had her mom till she was 8 weeks and still comfort nursed on my ear till she was old lol
Ear nibbles are the best! π€©π»
Hooray, baby cats. Hooray.

Bottle babies? My latest just started on gruel and went onto their next foster.
Yes, Iβve had Sneffels & Ferrara since they were found under a car at 2 weeks old. Your little ones are adorable π₯Ήπ» Thank you for helping them π«Ά Bottle babies are truly lifesaving work!
So cute.
Oh, the purrs!! π
but they're hungry they can't get any nourishment from a hand
Theyβre comfort nursing, like a baby that sucks on a pacifier or a toddler that sucks its thumbs
Good point but also maybe my hand is delicious? πΉ Suckling can definitely be a signal for being hungry but often is just a way they comfort themselves. Bottle babies tend to associate hands with both food AND comfortβ¦ but usually outgrow it by now. These two have been extra persistent! π»
