Nope, not when supporting that author causes real harm to real people.

Why do they need to? There are tens of thousands of other authors you could go to who aren't active sexual predators.

I was incorrect about it being Discworld- it was good Omens Neil co-wrote. That was my bad.

Though I did get the works mixed up (Good Omens is the correct one) I will not give money to someone still living that still profits and uses that money for abuse or other things as long as they live.

I agree, and that's why I didn't say anything about giving the author support :p. There are ways to consume said media while minimizing the support the author gets, be that through a secondhand used market, joint purchases (one copy for many people; like a library but smaller), or ethical piracy.
