Just returned from a long winded day with brothers family. They’re trying to squeeze in every minute as they possibly can with me which is lovely but I don’t like the emotional part. Makes me sad and I don’t handle seeing my family sad part very well. Sometimes I wonder where it all ends…. 😢
It can be a long painful healing ordeal, but goes easier with acceptance in freeing our guilt & shame. We are not meant to live in guilt & shame. It is our religious upbringing and society norms which make us believe that we are to suffer under such harsh self-controlling & criticizing emotions.🫂
Yes I agree… when it comes to family and loved ones it’s a tricky one. I’ve always been very close to my family… the upside is good now the bad side hurts. Almost midnight in Colombo. Going to get some sleep. Always greatly appreciate your wise words. Always there for me you have been GiGi. 🤗 xx

It ends with us being each spending our time alone with ourselves in introspection until we learn to accept, love, & adore ourselves. It is then that we no longer feel sad, lonely, or in lack of any type.
It is hard separating ourselves from the feelings other's experience and our inability to instantly soothe them. I still struggle with that one sometimes. But, ultimately it is up to each of them to learn how to manage their own emotions. It is painful & hard to stand back as they learn.
I just can’t bear to see others sad… specially when it’s got to do with me. Example is if I stayed on they’ll be happy, but I can’t. I made my home in the UK and I’m happier there than here…. It’s a difficult one.
You need to live where you are called to live. You should be living your happiest life. That sounds like guilt is creeping in. You need to beat it with a stick. lol Seriously, when you feel guilt for doing what is good for you, you must crush it. Kill it. Until there is no more guilt.
I don’t think it’s guilt, it’s that I want them to understand I’m going to be ok alone which is what gets them upset. Love brings joy as well as sadness… don’t we know that. 💕
Got it. I didn't have that piece of the information. It is their concern for you and your well-being. Just send them messages more frequently so that they "know" you are fine. That will ease their minds. Oh yes, we know that for sure!
I understand. I can't either. It tears me apart yet I have to always have a brave face for their sake. Learn to turn those emotions into positive happy ones. Feel the joy you saw in them when you were with them. Store it in your mind, heart & soul that way. If you can learn to it won't hurt.
You can learn to separate the emotions. Look at it differently and it won't feel so bittersweet each time. I know the heartache well. It isn't fun. I learned to give mine its very own space. It helped and I no longer suffer through the pain of it.
I'm so glad that you got to spend a lot of quality time with them. That is wonderful and there is nothing in the world that can replace those cherished memories. I hear you. I never like the emotional part either. It is very difficult for us empaths, the depth of our emotions.

Oh I know, it’s so very sad. They’re all parents suffering from C. Abandoned by family. It upsets me so much as there’s a video where I give them all a hug and a kiss individually…. 🥰 . The joy in their faces is something else. 😢
I know, you are living it first-hand and helping to give those suffering hope, love, and joy. It is so beautiful. You truly are an angel for doing that for them. It takes a very special person to give so much of themselves for others. Awww. That is perfect! Just what each needs. I see the joy.
