Graduating Yale Law does not necessarily make you smart. Money gets you into Yale. Even more money buys you a pass. I have met many brilliant Law Grads & an almost equal number of wealthy ‘slow’ Law grads who exit law practice very quickly. Vance fits the latter very well (only 2yrs in law practice)

My husband is a retired attorney, and he's a pretty smart cookie. I guess I assumed you had to be fairly smart to pass admissions and law school--although someone has to be at the bottom of the class. Just did some googling--Yale had DEI hires that were not race-based, he was a veteran, qualified.

Wow 4 years in the US Marine Corp ‘buys’ you a DEI entry into Yale so that you can later go on to deny DEI entry into a whole range of vocations. The hypocrisy is strong within Mr JD Bowman / Hamel / Vance or whatever name he decides to use tomorrow.
