This is not a deal. This is a capitulation. Shame.
This is not a deal. This is a capitulation. Shame.
I don’t think so. It’s a bad deal, but there’s no consensus among the EU MSs. Our unity is the most crucial.
There is no unity if EU can't stay against bullies. You can lie to yourself but you can't change truth.
You’re pessimistic. It’s just a bad deal, with a rogue country. We have more time than Trump has. Our unity is more important than that. Le lièvre et la tortue.
I'm not pessimistic. I'm realist. bigthink.com/culture-reli...
From the US side, I don’t really think is a bad deal for EU. Just a bad press conference. The US will continue to tax our own citizens while we continue to buy the same shit from Europe. Even with the tariffs, we can’t replace the EU’s production domestically. 1/2
This is just giving Trump a press conference so he can go on Fox News and say he won against the mean Europeans and The EU can put the back and forth uncertainty to bed for 3 1/2 years. None of EU’s supposed ‘investments’ will happen and they already are increasing their CNG imports… 2/2
What CNG means?
I think he meant LNG (Liquid Natural Gas)
I absolutely did, my bad
Its bad
Would you prefer the EU to explode ?
No. However, it will happen. EU has problems with economy but hey - let's give $600 billions to americans who want invade Canada, Greenland or they cut Ukraine out.
They have done nothing of that, until today. Once again, I would have preferred a strong retaliation. But several MSs were opposed. That is respectable. And I think that our unity is even more important. The consequence is a bad deal.
US consumers will pay 15% tariff on most EU products, up from 4.8%. To trump this is a "win". What a fool.
Absolutely. He is very bad at economics.
The market will decide what it will be, not the paper.
