Friends have a place on Petersville road but not as far. They made it in and probably will make it out. Said they only had to drive thru 16" of water at the Moise Creek flooding.

They say the Sterling Hwy mp 157 is fixed now.

This washout has been fixed. Alaska DOT facebook post from 3 days ago giving an alert of a washout on the shoulder near mile 157 by the Old Sterling intersection. the two side by side pictures show where the rain began to undercut the pavement.

Alaska DOT facebook post from 3 days ago concerning Whiskey Gulch Road Closure. The road to the beach has been closed for the weekend due to water starting to undercut the pavement. The picture shows Foliage on the left with the eaten away shoulder and the road above on the right.
