Episodes 2 "The First Vietnam War" (about the French war) and 13 "Legacies" (a tad political IIRC) were excised completely from the TAE repackaging.

Interesting. The Indochine period could merit its own mini-series, I think. Now curious to watch what AE did air. I like the Burns series.

It still remains the best VN war television documentary (far above the high production value but lower substance Ken Burns series). But if you want the original episodes, you have to either bootleg it or find it on eBay.
