Discworld QOTD, from Mort "He was determined to discover the underlying logic behind the universe. Which was going to be hard, because there wasn't one."

I like Death and the witches. The Watch comes after them, and the wizards last of all, don't really like them. But Pratchett was a genius.
Death, Witches and Lu-Tze
And Death's granddaughter. He really wrote women well.
Yes that's spot on he wrote women extremely well.
I remember that one! I finished that book a couple weeks ago.
Just started the color of magic, it’s a series I just missed along the way, excited to get into it!
If you don't like Color of Magic, it is recommended to try another one before writing off the series. Color of Magic and The Light Fantastic are notoriously bad places to start the series because they're so different from later books.
Yay!!!!
I just finished Sourcery. I love that the best thing a wizard can do is not use magic.
We're listening to these on Audible, with Peter Serafinowicz as Death, Bill Nighy as the Footnotes, each set of stories then has a main reader Colin Morgan for Rincewind ones, John Culshaw for and Vimes ones and so on. Loving them
Was this about Death? I feel like it was Also the reason people who try to solve everything with logic drive me spare SOME THINGS ARE NOT LOGICAL AND SHOULD NOT BE
Rereading Mort now as part of a read along with a first time Disc reader
Love this one. Well, I love all of them really, but especially this one.
