fwiw if you do get a second one for better benefits, it's worth holding onto your first one just because one of the things that goes into credit score is how long you've had your oldest accounts I use one card for 99% of purchases but haven't closed my other one for this reason

Additionally, credit score also is based on percent of total credit used, so having a higher limit (but not using it) can help

My oldest credit card is also my lowest interest rate. Not sure if that translates to others but worth thinking about.
