As a life long pacers fan it was the only time I rooted for the Knicks, Linsanity was such a beautiful time
Oh damn he won a ring with the Raptors!? Sweet.
ah but Carmelo has three gold medals and is an American hero (Not dissing Lin, just sticking up for Melo's career)
There is 2 Melo. Melo team usa has nothing to do with Melo knicks (or nba). That’s borderline schizophrenic
He had a unique career for sure
Lin was an interesting case because the stereotypes of being an Asian guy from Harvard was that he was a super high bball IQ player with lousy athleticism and it was really the exact opposite.
A fantastic story.
"He can't possibly be old enough to retire" I say as I look up his age and then turn into a pile of ancient dust
So stoked he was a buyout depth guy bench rider on the Raptors championship run. One of the happiest guys in the parade.
And I just turned a hundred years old
