Some of them might not be fleeing neglect or abuse in their home but instead child trafficking rings that their parents can’t protect them from. They escaped from slavers and could stay here and go to school but they have to go back to be enslaved or killed because they are not white.

to make those decisions and execute them successfully, betting on the reputation of this country in the process, by a child, and to have this done to them. it defies all conception of honor.
