the judge is now basically checking every couple of hours to make sure her directions are being followed to the letter because she is dealing with lying liars who lie astounding how much credibility the government has burned with the courts

I’m appalled at the judge. No defendant would ever get a sweetheart deal like this.

The Trump judges on the DC Circuit motions panel stayed Boasburg’s contempt proceedings.

Profiles in Cowardice. I fully intend to advocate for these cowards to get punished severely for not being squarely on Team Not-Trump. “Judicial independence” only helps Trump, so it’s not actually independence is it? It’s criminal levels of judicial bias dressed up in fake virtue.

They should have been doing this the moment Trump lurched his diseased rancid ass back into the Oval Office.

No defendant would ever get this kind of gift from a judge. What she should have done is the very first time she thought they weren’t going to follow her orders she should have held the attorneys involved in direct contempt and jailed them. Right then. She’s giving an undeserved gift to them.

It makes me curious if the judge has access to officers of the court or law enforcement who can physically go and enforce her orders? This administration has been flouting the law and orders from the courts with impunity.

It seems like... there should be... some sort of consequence to lying to a judge. Straight up lying, like you have contempt for the judge, and the court. But alas. There's nothing that can be done!

I wouldn't trust the SOB's either. They have proven time and again they cannot be trusted to follow court orders.

You'd think that after all this fuckery they'd just say "of you didn't actually do it, I'm locking you up for two weeks lying to this body." And instead they're just checking in while biting their fingernails.
