I tried listening to that once to see what people were talking about and I really don’t understand why it’s popular at all. Reactionary bullshit aside, it’s just a bad podcast. One of the least listenable podcasts I’ve ever tried.

I wouldn't complain about still relying on BBSes and FidoNet.

I hate to pull the completely unverifiable "I know the guy a little bit", but it's pretty amazing to see something like this in real time when one knows it's not accurate due to friends in the same social circles.

I just. The bad taste. The bad, bad taste. I keep being like, "podcasts bad? I just listen to a bunch of cool horror/sff podcasts and sometimes my friend's She-Ra podcast! I want to finish my Agatha All Along podcast!" and then I remember politics podcasts are so cursed.

Also everyone should have just had their brains cooked in college by a friend of a friend being the author of The Very Secret Diaries of Mistress Janeway. This Was the Way, sorry people under 40. ;)

Lots more twist and turns than character limit allows, but basically was a dirtbag left podcast by two edgelord women who, both in their own ways, swerved into reactionary right wing politics, all the way to palling around with Alex Jones. Prime example of the Sanders to Trump podcaster pipeline.
